Born in Illinois, USA (1997) , and raised in upstate New York, Nicole is a San Francisco based visual artist working primarily in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Her art is deeply personal and calls on her lifelong relationship with nature to translate her thoughts and emotions. Using landscape, animals, people, and mythology, she attempts to arrange, physically, abstract concepts and feelings. Her intrigue with how color and value alone can be used to create form establishes a unifying theme across her works. Without concern for realism, Nicole renders her representational compositions gesturally, guided by loose brushstroke, and vibrantly abstracted pallets.
